Hunting this year was quite fun, My dad shot a three by two and Mike shot a three by four, and my lucky butt got to see deer! I know I am a loser.
The Elk hunt was fun, Mike and I hunted our tails off. I actually saw three nice bulls but only shot at one. It was a tough shot in the jack pines, and I could make all the excuses in the world but as you guessed it we will be buying our meat this year.

It's not as big as our last year bucks but was a nice deer, someone had shot it in the fornt shoulder and it was limping pretty bad, so Michael is not only a nice guy but should be considered for the retard of the year award or something. Just kidding of course they don't do those awards anymore.
Well I will let my lovely wife continue to blast the Bogspot up with her boring entries, and hopefully it will still be visited by everyone.

We are with you on the whole meat thing. Mike hunted his guts out and he still has til the end of the month for elk and into November for deer but it is looking like our deep freeze will remain empty this year.

I would kill Brent if he posted a crazy picture of me. Shanna is such a good sport! :) I'm going to holler at Brent and have him come check out your hunting stuff, he'll get a kick out of it! He's dying to go hunting next year. He'll be crazy jealous it looks like you guys had a good time!
I think it's cool that you guys both post because when I read it I can always hear it in the right person's voice. I think it's more fun with the 2.

I agree that you shouldn't quit posting...it's fun to read. By the way, there are always "retard of the year" awards given in the Eskeleson family...we never run out!
